Hill suposedly wrote this book because he wants to help people recognize and overcome their fear of poverty He basically claims that you receive exactly what you fear He says the symptoms of the Fear of Poverty the characteristics of a poor person are Indifference indecision doubt worry over caution and procrastinationBut the book doesn’t do a good job of helping people overcome their “fear of poverty”Hill keeps hammering at how the most important pursuit and goal in life is seeking riches Basically he says that if you want to be rich you have to be obsessed with getting money And I just didn't like all the focus on how money is everythingAlso the chapter on sex transmutation was very muddyvagueweird

I thought the book was ok I guess the basics of this book are sound if a little meta for me Napoleon Hill is right in much of what he says but Im kind of along the lines of set goals make a list and attain the goals sore of guy Yes thinking about what you want and working towards it are the answer to getting something but he seems a little self absorbed in his thinking It reminds me of something in the secret that I didnt like The mystic sort of magical part which I believe in but which I dont hang my hat on as the do all and end of things
