Pretending to be a couple may drive them crazyFeisty mechanic Betty Smith should have only one thing on her mind—catching the conman who swindled her mother Not the sexy stranger who kissed her then completely disappeared Undercover FBI agent Joe Carter needs to focus on the bad guy who got away not the gorgeous headstrong brunette who watches too many cop shows and keeps interfering in his case Unfortunately catching their prey before he skips town means working togetherBut while entering the vintage car rally as a couple seemed like a good idea at the time faking feelings for each other turns out to be the easiest part Neither one can allow anything to get in their way but staying away from each other is impossible They both know though once their plan is complete so is their time together

uick easy read romance which puts you in feel good kinda mood Perfect weekend read I got a real kick out on the heroine being a mechanic because it's usually a male role It gave the book a little uirkiness and from what I can tell in the past books of this series it is the same So i can't wait to get my hands on those The story was just so much fun and written so well that you just read and read and don't think about time That's a very good story teller right there Sally Clements did that for me in this story I loved that her characters were also very relatable with every day stuff going on and you didn't have to stretch your imagination to live the storyREALLY GOOD READThank you NetGalley Entangled Publishing LLC for providing me with this great ARC in exchange for an honest review

Review from ARC courtesy of Entangled Publishing in exchange for honest review Oh Bliss Imprints I just love them Racing the Hunter's Moon is basically marshmallows and cotton candies with a tiny bit of spice in a book Everything is just so cute and adorable from the story to the characters This is the first Sally Clements book I've read Haven't read the first two books of the Under the Hood series yet but this book can work as a stand alone although it would be better to read of Ms Clements' works The Under the Hood series features three gorgeous mechanic sweethearts and this third book features the feisty mechanic Betty Smith and the Oh So Sexy FBI agent slash Carpenter Joe Carter When Betty thinks she's finally gonna catch the man who conned her mother a few years ago red handed Joe Carter wiggles into her life cutting her off when she thinks she's finally got the chance But Joe's on a mission to get that conman in jail and he's not gonna let Betty get in his way but it seems she's never gonna drop it Betty and Joe are one of the most adorable couples I've read Right from the start they're just made for each other Betty's not just a mechanic but she's also a feisty detective wannabe She's also annoyingly cute uite naive and a somehow a wee bit obvious and exaggerated Reading about Betty made me just want to face palm at her cuteness Like You're so cute I just want to smother you with GAHHH kind of reaction And Joe oh sweet sweet Joe He's a passionate character definitely does not forget that he's not just an FBI agent but also a human; a person HE BUILDS Yes he's a carpenter And that's not the only fact that made me like him It was also his drive to get the bad guy in jail even after his major slip up prior to this mission He's the guy who never gives up and can be very protective Definitely the kind of guy who you'd want to take home to meet your mama And these two characters are just meant to be eualsThe plot was not exactly overly appealing but it did pretty well to blend with the purpose of the characters A vintage car rally and catching a conman to put in jail What kind of put me off was the ending It ended up uite plain unlike what I had expected The I love you's were uick Everything happened a little too fast which originated from a charade between the two But nonetheless I still think this story was really cute Although it seems that this is the last of the Under The Hood series or not?FOR MORE REVIEWS

Of the three Under the Hood novellas the best was saved for last Sweet fun and with a bit of action it was an enjoyable read If you aren't familiar with the series it centralises around a garage run by 3 ladies for ladies And whilst characters do crossover and lives evolve this could be read as a standaloneI loved Joe protective level headed and thoughtful he was a sweetheart Betsy infuriated me for the early part of the book but as it progressed her reasonings became clear and she endeared herself totally She and Joe have an instant chemistry with the same goal in going after after the guy who fleeced her mum out of a small fortune and their task brings frustration sexiness whilst keeping you wondering whether they can pull it offWhat I would have liked to have seen was Joe's past elaborated on; I would've liked him to share with Betty but nevertheless Racing the Hunter's Moon was a nice easy read with a great epilogue which rounded the series off lovely 35 starsReviewed for Read Your Writes Book Reviews Copy received courtesy of Entangled Publishing for an honest and unbiased opinion

Betty is the owner of a garage but she also knows everything there is to know about being an amateur detective She wants to catch the man who conned her mother He stole a lot of money and much Betty isn't the only one who's after this man Joe who works undercover for the FBI wants to catch him as well Because she messes things up for him he has to tell Betty who he is and they decide to work together Will they catch their man and will they ever see each other again afterwards?Racing the Hunter's Moon is another fabulous story about a strong woman who doesn't only run her own garage but who's also very strong Betty is brave enough to go after a criminal and I liked her feisty character Joe is a man of many talents he's smart kind and creative He and Betty have the same goal and they need each other for the job to succeed It means pretending to be together and that appears to be fun than they thought It was interesting to see what would happen when feelings are starting to ariseThe Under the Hood series is lighthearted and fun The heroines are strong and they can take care of themselves The friendship element between the three mechanics is great Their men perfectly complement them and it put a smile on my face to see them happy I love Sally Clements's fast paced and cheerful writing She's written a cute and original series

This is a great fast paced suspense romance I loved the different story line – a vintage car rally Betty is trying to catch a criminal and runs into an undercover FBI agent doing the same Sparks fly and both end up in the hot seats of this car rally trying to catch the guy Many greatly done secondary characters that give this story depth and interest I was uite excited that this wasn’t a typical suspense story with problem after problem cropping up to delay them from their goal This flowed beautifully and was very well writtenI received this book for an honest review

I'm obviously in the minority here with my opinion of this novella as most readers loved it The writing was fine just the story seemed to be all over the place It didn't keep my attention at all so sorry about that Of course it might be my mood almost every book I've picked up in the last few days has not impressed me at all 😔 I hate not liking books as authors put so much hard work into them I will try another one by this author

Received a copy from Netgalley in exchange for an honest reviewRacing the Hunter's Moon by Sally Clements is the 3rd book in her Under the Hood series and can be read as a stand alone book It features mechanic Betty Smith and FBI agent Joe CarterWhen Betty Smith finds out the man who swindled her mom is back in town this time by the name of Alexander Charmers she is determined to catch him in the act He might have been Alex Carlisle a few years ago but it makes no difference He is back in town to do the same schemeJoe Carter first meets Betty when she is trying to follow Charmers He drags her up against the wall and tells her to stop following Charmers He notices Charmers sees them so he kisses her It's an instant connection but Betty just can't believe the audacity of this stranger who just warns her and kisses herBetty needs a carpenter What she didn't realize was that one of her friends would suggest Joe Joe also does carpentry on the side When him and Betty talk about Charmers they realize they can work together But they also need to put up a charade that they're a couple Charmers saw them kiss After one of Betty's friends Mark gets injured Betty and Joe team up to race in the Hunter's Moon festival The race last for a few days so Joe drives and Betty navigates him While they are racing they are also working to bring Charmers down as he's about to swindle Leonora Time is racing down Will they be able to catch Charmers? And Betty and Joe might be pretending to be a couple but will it be real?Racing the Hunter's Moon was the first book I've read by Sally Clements and it won't be the last I plan to read the first 2 books in this series It was a uick read for me but I absolutely enjoyed it Betty was feisty and stubborn but she has a good heart Joe definitely is her counterpart He was calm and assertive Their racing scenes were fun to read Wonderful job to Sally Definitely recommend this book

The book is part of the Under The Hood series and while this is book 3 it can also be read as a standalone which I didUnder The Hood is a garage operated by 3 girls who are also best of friends This book features Betty Smith who is feisty confident watches too many cop shows and reads too many detective books She has been in detective mode ever since her mother got conned a substantial amount by a man known as Alex Carlisle several years ago Alex Carlisle has been on the FBI radar but a turn of events resulted in Alex being set free Thus Betty decided to take matters into her own hands to make sure justice is served especially now that Alex Carlisle has reappeared under the name Alex Charmers and trying his way to con another sweet lady in her townJoe Carter is an FBI agent and it was because of him Alex Carlisle was set free Since then Joe has taken upon himself to track Alex again and he has every intention to put Alex behind bars Going undercover as a carpenter he meets Betty They ended up not only having to team up for the vintage car race during the Hunter's Moon Festival but also to catch Alex Charmers in actionThis is my first book by Sally Clements I totally enjoyed this book While it is packed with action from the sleuthing to the car race it wasn't over the top The story wasn't too slow or too rushed either There was sufficient time given for the story build up for the chemistry build up for the friendships I also loved that this series is about 3 women who aren't worried about breaking their nails or having grease on their faces and are able to carry themselves when the occasion calls for it Definitely a sweet read with a HEA I will be sure to check out the earlier books in this seriesMany thanks to Netgalley and Entangled Publishing for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review
